- Goal: To reverse engineer as many Synd as possible and return to Nexus with this new knowledge, as well as some Sol samples.
Story: The Zax[ | ]
Mondo was researching Eldan technology in his lab when he mistakenly activated a fail-safe device that dragged him through a dimensional rift. Mondo appeared on the Dredgion and, amidst the confusion of his sudden arrival, began firing his Bolt Caster wildly for reasons that he he now refers to as an “Important scientific assessment.” Eventually, after hours of combat, the other Masters were able to subdue him, inform him of where he was, and explain the threat of the Synd. Mondo was intrigued by such an advanced level of technology and agreed to join the Masters so long as he is allowed to reverse engineer any Synd he captures until his to return to Nexus.
While Mondo has been unable to reverse the effects of the Eldan fail-safe, he has been able to trigger the rifting event to pull Bot helpers through from his shop to utilize in battle. This assures him that there is still a link to Nexus, and a way back to his lab.
